Amentum is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to assist with kitchen and dining services for a U.S. Navy program.
Position Responsibilities
The dishwasher is responsible for the proper cleaning and sanitizing of all dining utensils, kitchen equipment, utensils, and cookware in accordance with strict food safety guidelines and is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness standards through both machine and hand washing processes.
A person had to be able to do operational procedures in a timely manner, keep accurate sanitation records and work well in a high-volume food service operation to be successful.
Key Responsibilities
Dishwasher Primary Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sanitising of cooking utensils, tableware, cookware and kitchen equipment.
- To operate commercial scullery machines safely and efficiently.
- As per instructions from the manufacturer of dishwashing equipment.
- Ensuring that all dishes and utensils meet the required sanitation standards.
- Monitoring temperatures during the washing cycle.
- Keeping proper temperature and sanitation records.
- Review cleaning records with the food service supervisors as needed.
- Washing of kitchenware and utensils by hand.
- Return the items to their proper places to be cleaned.
